Established since 1998, at Spectrum we take our responsibilities very seriously and have studied to advanced level with the institute of Environmental Health and Infection Control in order to advise our customers from a position of strength.

  • 1998 - Spectrum is Founded

    Spectrum is first founded by Jerry, Jo and Pete. The business focused on supplying a range of cleaning and hygiene products sourced from multiple manufacturers.

  • 2005 - Launch of First Web Store

    Spectrum offers a web store for the first time, marking the companies move to web 2.0.

  • 2009 - Hygiene Management Scheme

    The acclaimed Hygiene Management Scheme is launched, offering a level of service that goes beyond just the supply of cleaning and hygiene products. COSHH training, a resource centre and a dedicated hygiene consultant only scratch the surface of what’s on offer.

  • 2017 - CRAMs is launched

    CRAMS is a cloud-based health and safety software solution that we designed to help organisations comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA). The EHS software features real-time online risk assessments, method statements, accident reporting and integrated competency training.

  • 2018 - CHSA Accreditation

    We are delighted to have been awarded “Accredited Distributor” status by the Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies Association, who represent national and global multinational manufacturers and distributors. family. The accolade demonstrates that Spectrum only source supplies from manufacturers and distributors who adhere to high quality standards for qualifying products.

  • 2019 - Brand Relaunched as Spectrum

    Out with the old and in with new. Spectrum undergoes a big marketing revamp. With a brand new logo, followed by an updated, easy to use, fresh website, Spectrum give their whole brand, a new lease of life.

Cleaning keeps us healthy, by banishing bacteria and dust, and also contributes to our broader welfare. Workers are more productive, students will have better learning outcomes and members of the public will feel safer and happier if their surroundings are clean and well maintained.
