Challenge

Solution

Inefficient stock management: Overstocking of products led to cluttered stock cupboards and poor cash flow.

Optimised stock and cost management: A review reduced the product range by 70% to  improve cash flow, with concentrated chemicals ensuring cost-effective, high-standard cleaning.

Excessive and inappropriate products: The number of products made staff training challenging and many chemicals were not easy for the staff to use.

Streamlined product range and improved training: Consideration of logistics, dilutions, equipment, compliance and cleaning methods enabled us to introduce the correct training programme to ensure all 4Serve supervisors were efficient in all areas,

empowering them to cascade information to their respective teams.

Environmental compliance: 4Serve were aiming to achieve ISO 14001 certification but were using non-eco-friendly products. This risked losing current customer and hindered attainment of new business.

Sustainability and customer growth: Environmentally friendly products helped retain ISO 14001 certification and attract new customers.

Lack of real-time compliance tools: 4Serve had no system for real-time safety and compliance guidance.

Digital management tools: The My Spectrum portal provides real-time access to safety data, product guidance, and eLearning, improving compliance and efficiency.

Paul Frankland

"Jo has worked hard as our account manager, to understand our business goals and ambitions, and has suggested several ways to dovetail training, systems and processes to provide better staff and customer satisfaction resulting in great retention of both.

Her quarterly account reviews provide useful management information, which help us better understand our buying patterns, and she is always offering creative suggestion's to help move our relationship forwards in order for us to meet our objectives.

I have no doubt that we are working with a very trusted partner and I would have no hesitation to recommend Jo and her team to others, as I so very often do. "
